Subject: Contribution on definition of "accessibility" - Comments on ia050074
From: Gregg Vanderheiden, Trace R & D Center

These all look like good and interesting definitions.

Three question arise

1 - if the definitions already exist elsewhere - then why are we getting
involved at all

2 - if there are multiple definitions and we therefore feel like we have to
'bless' one the questions are

    - what are the other definitions?  If we are choosing one we
Should look at the others too.

    - if there are multiple definitions - who are we to decide which
is the one that is 'best'.

3 - if everyone agrees that these sound fine - then it looks like there is a
general consensus on what the word mean - and there is no particular reason
for us to 'bless' any definitions and thus risk encroaching on other
standards efforts - when we have not been asked or charged to do this.

This is a general comment from me and not specific to the US working group.
